... Wind Advisory in effect until 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Midland/Odessa has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ this
evening.

West to northwest winds of 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph will be
possible today across the Eddy County plains of southeast New
Mexico as well as the upper trans Pecos region of West Texas. Winds
will begin to decrease this evening after sunset.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
