Dense Fog Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:36 PM CST on March 11, 2010

... Dense fog advisory in effect until midnight CST tonight...

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
dense fog advisory... which is in effect until midnight CST
tonight.

Areas of dense fog will redevelop this evening due to moist Gulf
air riding over cool shelf waters. Visibilities in dense fog may
lower down to around 1/2 to 1/4 mile. Northwest winds will bring
drier air into the area later this evening. The fog should
dissipate around midnight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
