An area of showers...with a few embedded thunderstorms...will continue to move northeast around 25 mph over southeast New Mexico...the upper trans Pecos and northern Permian Basin. Through 6 PM CDT...the thunderstorms are expected to stay west of a Andrews and Monahans line. Rainfall amounts will generally be one tenth to one quarter inch with isolated amounts around one inch with any of the thunderstorms. Gusty winds to 40 mph...frequent cloud to ground lightning and local flooding of low lying areas may accompany any thunderstorms.
