National Weather Service Doppler radar continues to indicate areas of showers and rain falling over southeast Texas...southern Louisiana and the adjacent coastal waters. Rainfall amounts are averaging less than 1/4 of an inch per hour. In addition areas of fog is lowering visibility to less than 1 mile along the coast with visibility inland ranging from 1 to 3 miles.

Today...Areas of fog early in the morning. Occasional showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
Tonight...Partly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows in the lower 40s inland...in the mid 40s coast. West winds 10 to 15 mph inland...west 15 to 25 mph coast.
Wednesday...Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs in the upper 60s. West winds 10 to 15 mph.
