Lake Wind Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 10:10 am CST on January 6, 2009

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 6 PM CST this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 6 PM CST this afternoon.

A surface trough moving across Texas today will give way to
strong and gusty west to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with
occasional gusts to 40 mph through 6pm. These winds will create
hazardous conditions on area lakes.

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
