Short-term forecast
Issued by the National Weather Service at 5:28 PM CST on March 11, 2010
Through 8 PM...dense sea fog will continue to move inland from the coastline and impact the coastal counties. Visibilities of less than 1 mile will be common especially along the coast...with some locations experiencing visibilities of less than 1/2 mile. Motorists should be alert for rapid changes to visibilities and mariners should operate below wake speed and with extreme caution if operating across the nearshore waters. A frontal boundary will move into the coastal regions before midnight...helping to push and dissipate the fog east of the area.
